Seven waterfalls are hidden in the mountains around Juayúa, connected by a route that takes roughly five hours through hills, valleys and coffee plantations. You don’t pull up, take the photo and leave—you hike your way to them. Your shoes are about to become a before-and-after photo.

Por qué existe este reto?

The waterfalls aren’t the whole story.

Juayúa was a pre-Columbian Náhuat town long before it became one of the best-known stops on Ruta de las Flores. Today, Indigenous roots, coffee culture and wild mountain landscapes all overlap in the same place you’re hiking through. You came for seven waterfalls and accidentally walked into centuries of Salvadoran identity.
